On January 14, 2025, Hon. Caren Latonero, Student Regent of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, visited the Dawani Student Core Group (Dawani SCG) GAD advocates to discuss organizational matters, consultations, and possible partnerships.
The meeting was attended by Acting Convener Julius Annestien Mantes, Deputy Legislative Officer John Rey Estiva, Secretary General Arben Sola, Legislative Officer Jerrymie Lagat, along with other officers of the Dawani SCG and AngSalinsinag.
Among the key highlights of the meeting were the digitalization initiatives, including communication and transparency systems, as well as enhanced coordination between the Dawani SCG, the CBSUA Federation of Supreme Student Council, and the Office of the Student Regent.
Meanwhile, Hon. Latonero recognizes the Dawani Student Core Group’s contributions to the Stateans through its initiatives and strategic approaches in addressing budgetary constraints while still implementing meaningful programs. Additionally, the student regent looks forward to receiving student-centered and inclusive policy recommendations from the organization.
The Dawani SCG extends its appreciation to Hon. Caren Latonero for the time and the affirmed partnership efforts. The organization also looks forward to future activities that will benefit the Stateans and the wider community.
