Queen of Agri-diversity visits Dawani SCG, GAD Office

PILI, Camarines Sur — Nine of ten official candidates of the Queen of Agri-diversity paid a courtesy visit to the Bicol Regional Gender and Development Resource Center (GAD Office) as part of their advocacy activities aligned with agriculture and social development.

The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration on gender-responsive agricultural initiatives and to deepen the candidates’ understanding of policies promoting inclusivity, particularly in support of the SOGIE-SC Equality Bill.

The engagement also served as a benchmarking activity for the official crown design, symbolizing empowerment, equality, and sustainable development.

Organizers emphasized that the activity forms part of the long-duration pre-pageant events scheduled from February to April, highlighting the candidates’ commitment not only to beauty and poise but also to policy awareness, gender sensitivity, and agricultural advancement.

The Queen of Agri-diversity program of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources – Student Council (CANR-SC) integrates agricultural advocacy with gender and development principles, reinforcing the role of youth leadership in promoting inclusive and sustainable communities.
